Car Scent Hangers for Dad

We made some little car scent thingies for our Dads in preschool and I thought you all might like to see them.  They are super easy, take little time, and very little money.  Can't beat that!

We went with a "Super Star" theme.  We are making little cards that talk about how our Dads are Super Stars and we're goiing to make them Star shaped sugar cookies.

Materials
  • felt in desired colors
  • mod podge
  • yarn
  • scissors
  • cookie cutters in desired shapes
  • pencil
  • sharpie
  • scented oil
  1. Trace the desired shape onto your desired felt.  Make 2 of everything so that it can be the same on both sides.
  2. Carefully cut out the shapes and write whatever you want on them.
  3. Using an old paint brush, mod podge each side together, but don't put it completely together.
  4. Put yarn in between and glue both sides together.
  5. Once completely dry, put a few drops of scented oil on hanger.
  6. Give to Dad so he can put it in his car and make it smell good.
*If Dad doesn't like it or doesn't want it hanging in his car, he can also put it in the ash tray, or in the glove box, or under the seat...it will still make the car smell good.

Thanks for sharing. Something easy to do and practical that I'm sure DH would like.
